Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary - Proposed replacement kennelling facilities

We are extremely pleased to be appointed to provide project management and architectural services for the Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary. The proposed replacement kennel building has been carefully designed to be sensitive to the surroundings. This improved facility is much needed to provide the quality of care and a less stressful environment required for the ever increasing problem of abandoned strays, and to replace their existing decayed facilities.

Dogs Trust redevelopment of existing Rehoming Centre, Ilfracombe

Phase 2 was completed in March 2013, on time and on budget. We wish to thank the main contactor (Pearce Construction), the M&E consultants (E3 Consulting Engineers) and the quantity surveyors (Gardiner & Theobald) for a smoothly running project.

Upon a recent visit to site, ahead of the official Opening Ceremony in June 2013, the centre looks incredibly well finished and full of dogs waiting for new homes.

Please see our Case Study to view the completion photographs.

This was an extremely complex scheme whereby we carried out design co-ordination involving physicists, radiation consultants, counter terrorism consultations and various specialist suppliers. We would like to thank the client (AHT), the contractor (R G Carter), the physicist (Hamish Porter) and everyone else involved.

Feasibility Study - Marwell Zoo

We were very fortunate to be appointed to work closely with the veterinary department at the prestigious Marwell Zoo complex near Winchester in Hampshire. Given an area of the site in this wonderful zoological park we were tasked with trying to provide inexpensive but state-of-the-art facilities for a post mortem, a veterinary hospital with small animal isolation and with the possibility of a science and conservation lecturing facility.

At this stage, it is only for planning and feasibility as Marwell Zoo will need to fundraise. This has been an exciting project working with Marwell and understanding the wonderful work that is achieved at this amazing centre.
